Private graveside services for Faye Sosebee Reeves, 94, of Clarkesville, will be held at Clarkesville City Cemetery. 

  Mrs. Reeves passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020. 

  Born Oct. 1, 1926 in the Habersham Mill Community, Faye was the daughter of the late Conard Wiley Sosebee and the late Robie Trotter Sosebee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Sosebee Skelton.

  In addition to her role as homemaker to husband, Bob and two sons, she was employed at various times in the Home and Gifts department of Reeves Hardware in Clarkesville, Habersham Electric Membership Corporation, and Sutton Tire in Clarkesville. She was one of the longest-running members of Clarkesville First United Methodist Church, where she and Bob married in 1947. Avid collectors of primitive antiques, Bob and Faye bought and sold for many years from their home-based Back Home Antiques in Clarkesville. 

Survivors include sister, Ruby Sosebee Matthews of Jasper; sons, Jim Reeves and wife, Debbie of Dahlonega, Randy Reeves and wife, Charlotte of Woodstock; grandson, Chris Reeves and wife, Dana of Toccoa; granddaughters, Kim Reeves Shepard and husband, Chris of Norwalk, Iowa, Anna Reeves Witkoski and husband, Joshua of Arden, North Carolina, and Ashley Reeves of Marietta; as well as four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Blake, Noah, and Gracen Reeves.
