A memorial service for Gerald Richmond, 76, of Cornelia, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Oakwood.
Mr. Richmond passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
Born May 30, 1946, in Avella, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Clarence Richmond and Hazel Marshman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jim Richmond of St. Clairsville, Ohio and David Richmond of Avella, Pennsylvania.
He married Betty Richmond Aug. 5, 1972, in Washington, Pennsylvania.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; children, Aaron and Stephanie Richmond and Mark and Michelle Shumaker, all of Flowery Branch, Rigo and Danielle Avelar of Lula, and Benjamin and Dana Watroba of Jefferson; his five grandchildren, Ella Richmond, Jackson and Harrison Shumaker, and Harlowe and Adeline Watroba; sister, Phyllis and her husband, John Keltz of Barnsville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Donna Richmond of St. Clairsville, Ohio; and brothers, Bruce Richmond, and his wife, Lorraine of Bedford, Pennsylvania and Earl Richmond and his wife, Nancy of Washington, Pennsylvania.
