Funeral services for Helen J. Lively, 88, of Cornelia, were held Saturday, April 10, at Camp Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Isaac McDuffie, Pastor Bill Barrs, and Pastor James Lyons officiating. Interment followed in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lively passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021.
Born Sept. 4, 1932, in Ameagle, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Alexander Thompson and Fern Hensley Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Lee Lively; and several of her brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Lively had retired as the Assistant Corporate Secretary of Hardaway Corporation with over 25 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Camp Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband, Conrad Wayburn Lively of Cornelia; daughter, Debra Clark of San Diego, California; son, Conrad Dale Lively of Brandon, Florida; daughter-in-law, Susan Lively of Lithia, Florida; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, North Chapel, Demorest.
