Funeral services for Jean Beaty Doll, 91, of Demorest, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 9, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Pastor Hobie Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.

  Mrs. Doll went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 5, 2021.

  Born July 8, 1929, in Pavo, she was a daughter of the late Frank Sr. and Winifred "Winnie" Ryall Beaty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack Beaty, Frank Beaty Jr., John Clement Alderman, and Myrl Beaty; and sister, Katherine Doane.

Jean was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She enjoyed sewing as well as making arts and crafts. Jean was a faithful member of Christ Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville and took great pride in making flower arrangements for the church. 

Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Kenneth E. Doll of Demorest; sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew and Barbie Doll of Snellville, and Philip and Lea Doll of Gainesville; grandchildren, Matthew Doll of Chicago, Illinois, and Anna Doll of Atlanta; brother, Beverly "Bud" Beaty of Pavo; sisters, Maxine Prater of Carnesville, and Dorothy "Dot" Culp of Thomasville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would also like to thank special friends, Mike and Brenda Allen for their support during this time.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service hour Friday.
