Funeral services for Margie Nell Taylor Thomas, 82, of Mt. Airy, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with the Rev. Thomas Gragg officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Thomas passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2021.
Born Feb. 13, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Blondine Leckie Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thomas.
Mrs. Thomas loved her family especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Mitchell Earl and Stephanie Thomas of Clarkesville, and Danny Eric and Regina Thomas of Alto; daughter and son-in-law, Vicky Ann and Danny Thomason of Cleveland; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Edwin Taylor of Monroe; sisters, Carolyn Shirley of Demorest, Mary Taylor and Linda Luke, both of Cornelia, and Brenda Ridley of Cleveland; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
