Funeral services for Ruth Keller Loudermilk, 91, of Mt. Airy, were held Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Justus and the Rev. Jon Huebner officiating. Interment followed in Eastview Cemetery.

Mrs. Loudermilk passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019.

Born July 23, 1928, in Cornelia, she was a daughter of the late Crawford Curtis "Doc" and Margaret Evans Keller. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Loudermilk; son, Michael Loudermilk; and brother, Curtis Cale Keller.

Mrs. Loudermilk graduated from Baldwin High School and went on to work for the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of Glade Creek Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for around 40 years. Mrs. Loudermilk enjoyed puzzles, word finds, loved her family and her coffee.

  Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Loudermilk Kinsey of Mt. Airy; daughter-in-law, Yovonda Loudermilk of Mt. Airy; grandchildren and their spouses, Chad Kinsey of Mt. Airy, Chris and LeAnn Kinsey of Colbert, Chase and Elisha Kinsey of Mt. Airy, Jessica and Robert Reepe of Hoschton, Emilee and Kelsey Black of Braselton, Rob and Amber Loudermilk of Mt. Airy, and Rhett Loudermilk of Mt. Airy; great-grandchildren, Addie and Macie Reepe of Hoschton, Davis Black of Braselton, Ava Loudermilk of Mt. Airy, KrisAnna, C.J., and J.D. Kinsey of Colbert, Savannah and John Kinsey of Mt. Airy and Georgia and Bennett Kinsey of Mt. Airy; brothers and sister-in-law, Kirby Lee Keller and Joann, J.P. Keller, and Ted Keller, all of Mt. Airy; sisters and brother-in-law, Mildred Goolsby of Cleveland, and Louvene Keller Chitwood and Danny of Mt. Airy; and special cousin, Edwina Simmons of Mt. Airy.
