Funeral services for Tammy Mae Shelton Martin, 56, of Cornelia, were held Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Hillside Memorial Chapel. Interment was in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Martin passed away Sept. 15, 2022 following a period of declining health.
Born April 1, 1966, in Cleveland, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Alfred L. Shelton.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cornelia Church of Christ.
Survivors include husband, Lewis H. Martin of Cornelia; stepdaughters, Kimberly Martin of Demorest and Tonya Abernathy (Kenny) of Clarkesville; stepsons, Shawn Martin (Jessica) of Demorest and Adam Martin (Heather) of Clarkesville; brother, David Shelton (Roxy) of Tennessee; best friend, Joan Weaver (Curtis); bonus children, Justin Garrett (Amanda) and Jonathan Garrett (Jessica); great-nephew, Benjamin Shelton; special cousin, Harvey Shelton; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
