Funeral services for Teresa Kay Mullinax, 61, of Clarkesville, were held Sunday, Oct. 10, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with the Rev. Connie Berry officiating. Interment followed in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mullinax passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021.
Born May 29, 1960, in Demorest, she was the daughter of the late Guy Howard and Emma Forrester Mullinax. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Melvin and Leota Mullinax; brothers, Larry A. Mullinax and Barry M. Mullinax.
Teresa was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Demorest and previously worked for Standard Telephone, Alltel and Windstream. She was a caregiver who loved her family, children and animals, especially her cats.
Surviving are her brothers and sisters-in-law, J.G. and Bonnie Mullinax of Mt. Airy, and Earnest and Jo Mullinax of Alto; sister-in-law, Charlene Mullinax of Clarkesville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
