The top-seeded Tallulah Falls girls varsity soccer team punched its ticket to the Sweet 16 round of the GHSA Class A Division I State Playoffs after the Lady Indians pulled out a 2-1 first round

   Habersham Central's girls soccer team ran roughshod 10-0 over Paulding County on Thursday night in the first round of the state playoffs to reach the Sweet 16 for the first time.

   All students in the Habersham County School System will receive free lunch next school year thanks to a federal program.

   Brad Chosewood has about a month left of high school, but the Habersham Central salutatorian, STAR student and soon-to-be Ivy League shot put athlete is not done reaching new heights.
