A visitation service for Emory Curtis Sellers, 73, of Mt. Airy, was held Monday, Aug. 17, at Hillside Memorial Chapel.

Memorial services for Laura Jean Clark Heintz, 72, of Cornelia, are at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with the Rev. Dee Dillin officiating.

A private funeral service for Payne Lomax, 93, of Toccoa, formerly of the Mud Creek Community, will be held at the Crossroads Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Chambers and the Rev.

Funeral services for Sheila Ansley Barrett, 60, of Demorest, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Dr. Brian James and the Rev.

A private family memorial service for James "Jimmy" Thomas Ivie Jr., 62, of Lula, will be held.

Mr. Ivie went home to be with the Lord Monday, Aug. 17, 2020. 

A private graveside service for Barbara Turner Roberts, 83, of Cornelia, will be held at the Clarkesville City Cemetery with Dr. David Turner and the Rev. Steve Doran officiating.

Graveside services for William Wayne Short, 80, of Demorest, were held Sunday, Aug. 16, at New Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Dill officiating.

Brian Cecil Nichols, 60, of Demorest, passed away from an extended illness Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Helen Mardell Jordan Armour, 88, of Alto, passed away Aug. 13, 2020.  Graveside services were held Sunday, Aug. 16, at Westview Cemetery in Lula.
