Funeral services for Anette Wilson Freeman, 67, of Mt. Airy, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Scott Ledbetter and the Rev. Chad Holcomb officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Freeman went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021.
Born Nov. 5, 1953, in Demorest, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Calvin and Dosha Watts Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda LaNa Freeman; and a sister, Dolores Wilson.
Anette was retired as a Licensed Nurse Practitioner and of the Non-Denominational faith. She loved her family tremendously, enjoyed traveling, and was always caring for others.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Melinda Freeman of Flowery Branch, and Derek and Teresa Freeman of Ragland, Alabama; companion, Gerald Ray of Mt. Airy; niece, Tammy Wilson Fleming of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Erika Freeman, Sierra Freeman, Haley Freeman, Shelby Boutwell, and Brittany Boutwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made in memory of Anette Wilson Freeman to the Spina Bifida Association of Georgia, 233 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30303.
