A memorial service for Barbara Black Green, 89, of Newnan, formerly of Clarkesville, will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church Saturday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m.
Mrs. Green passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022.
Born July 15, 1933, in Clarkesville, Mrs. Green was the daughter of the late Thomas Lester and Margaret Oma Gastley Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Charles H. Green; son, Kip Green; sisters, Margaret Cruce, Carolyn Landrum, and Beverly Coffer; brothers, Jerry Black and John Larry Black; and brothers-in-law, Tyson Cruce, M.L. Coffer, and Bill Bellisle.
She was a retired pharmacist and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include son, Charles E. "Ceg" Green of Houston, Texas; daughter, Kelly Green of Newnan; brother, Jimmy (Linda Jean) Black of Demorest; sister, Beth Black; brother-in-law, Everett Landrum; sisters-in-law, Linda Gail Black Marshall and Carol Black; granddaughter, Alyssa; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
