INVITATION TO BID COMPETITIVE COST SEALED BIDS Sealed bids for construction of the City of Cornelia Raw Water Reservoir No. 1 Improvements will be received until the closing time of June 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time. Bids must be submitted by the Bidder electronically through QuestCDN.com. No paper submissions will be accepted. Any bid received after the bid closing time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically provided in the Instructions to Bidders and/or by State law. The purpose is to allow bidders access to the jobsite and discuss any other questions the bidder may have. Bringing a small boat to access the outlet control structure is recommended. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of Record such addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. SCOPE OF WORK The Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work as specified, generally described as follows: installation of new toe drains, modifications to outlet control structure, catwalk to outlet control structure, concrete retaining wall construction, demolition of raw water tower, and miscellaneous site piping. Time allotted for completion of work is 90 consecutive calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.
