Funeral services for Howard Jay Mull, 78, of Clarkesville, were held Tuesday, March 8, at Hillside Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Bill Trotter officiated. Interment followed in Demorest City Cemetery.
Mr. Mull went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 5, 2022.
Born Nov. 7, 1943, in Hayesville, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Amos and Clara Crane Mull. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Shirley Justice Mull; brothers, Horace Mull, Marvin Mull, and Dewey Mull; and sister, Joyce Mull.
Howard spent over 40 plus years as a self-employed mechanic before retirement. In his spare time, he was an avid outdoorsman. Howard enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in his vegetable garden. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his children, Michael Mull of Ludington, Michigan, Jay and Connie Mull of Clarkesville, Gary Mull of Dahlonega, and Wanda Hunter and Kevin and Misty Mull, all of Clarkesville; brother, Randy Mull of Clarkesville; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
