At his request, no formal services will be held for Robert Lee Cody, 73, of Alto.
Mr. Cody went to be with the Lord Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021.
Born Aug. 27, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan, he was the son of the late Shirley and Mary (Grabowski) Cody. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Deborah (Roberts) Cody; and his partner, Lynn (Melton) Kruger.
Robert lived most of his adult life in Florida, where he enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. He always appreciated cooking for his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his younger sister, Susan (Cody) Medeiros of Cleveland; daughter, Cynthia (John) Hopper of Warner Robins; son, Robert Cody Jr. of Florida; granddaughter, Mackenzie Hopper, and grandson, Aiden Hopper, both of Warner Robins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, North Chapel, Demorest.
