Paul Dylan Gross, the 28-year-old man wanted for questioning in a series of residential burglaries throughout Habersham County, is still on the loose.
The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has been looking for him since at least May, along with 29-year-old Thomas Scott Hilland, who also had active warrants from other agencies before he was arrested on June 15.
According to online jail records, Hilland is still booked at the Habersham County Detention Center. He is facing one misdemeanor charge of probation violation and two felony charges of burglary in the first degree and parole violation. His bond was set at $5,600.
Authorities previously said they believed Gross and Hilland were traveling together in a silver Volkswagen Passat Wagon. Gross is wanted for burglary, theft by taking, fleeing/eluding, reckless driving and entering an automobile. No information was given about any leads the sheriff’s office is following.
HCSO is also asking for the public’s assistance in locating four other criminal suspects. They include:
• Jacob Lee Mull, 28, theft by taking;
• Jarrid D. Carter, 35, simple assault (Family Violence Act), criminal damage to property;
• Daniel Paul Allison, 39, kidnapping;
• Cornelius Smith, 47, theft by taking.
