Dunkin' Donuts is coming to Habersham County

According to Cornelia’s Community Development Manager Jessie Owensby, Dunkin Donuts closed on a property in Cornelia Nov. 4.

Now, the planning department and the county fire marshal have both reviewed and approved the plans for a new Dunkin Donuts location to open.

The new Dunkin Donuts will be located in the Habersham Village Shopping Center in the vacant parking lot adjacent to Burger King, Owensby said, adding that “they should be starting construction any day now.”

As reported in The Northeast Georgian following a Clarkesville City Council meeting held last week, a Dunkin Donuts is also expected to open a location in Clarkesville in the near future.

The two locations will be the first two Dunkin Donuts locations to open in Habersham County.

The closest location now is in Cleveland.
