The members of the Skeins of Love Prayer Shawl Ministry of Clarkesville First United Methodist Church have given their time and talents to honor veterans. From mid-August until the end of October, the ladies knitted, crocheted and quilted throws, lap robes, and comfort squares for the veterans in palliative and hospice care at the Northeast Georgia Regional Medical Center Hospice in Gainesville. Plans are being made to continue this project next year.
