Cornelia Elementary Veterans Day celebration

Cornelia Elementary School hosted several local veterans for a Veterans Day celebration Monday. The day began with a free breakfast for the veterans which continued with a student-led ceremony in the gym. Students performed patriotic songs, read poems and letters of thanks and recognizing each individual branch and showed a "thank you" video. Students lead Grant-Reeves Post 7720 Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Cmdr. Bill Miles and the local veterans to their seats in the gym as students cheer.
