Cornelia Mayor J.C. Irby recognizes retiring city employee Barry Trotter. Trotter worked 14 years for the city and was a wastewater laboratory analyst and wastewater operator, Class 2.

Cornelia Mayor J.C. Irby recognizes 10-year city equipment operator Greg Moss at Tuesday’s council meeting. Other city employees who were scheduled to be honored by were ill and unable to attend included Paul Gilbert (water-sewer crew member, 10 years), Clif McEntyre (public works supervisor, 5 years) and Rachel Newkirk (police department court clerk, 5 years).
