Former Demorest chief told only that he was fired for 'performance issues'

Demorest fired its police chief on April 16.

After six days of wondering, former Demorest Police Chief Robin Krockum has received his separation notice regarding his unexpected termination Thursday, April 16.

The document provided by Krockum states the reason for separation was regarding performance issues. The Northeast Georgian has previously reported Krockum did not have any disciplinary issues during his tenure.
