Habersham County couple builds crosses for community to foster 'faith, not fear'

Sandy and Jimmy Turner stand with dozens of wooden crosses they’ve built as part of the “Faith Not Fear” movement. The crosses are free of charge to anyone who wants one. Donations for materials are accepted.
The cross is a symbol of sacrifice, salvation and hope. Lately, hundreds of simple wooden crosses, decorated by homeowners, have adorned yards and businesses in Northeast Georgia.
