Habersham Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) held their annual Night of Champions Banquet on Nov. 13 at North Georgia Technical College.
The banquet helps the non-profit raise money for their operating budget. The night held a large turnout for the group, larger than originally expected. More than 180 people came together for the celebration.
Habersham FCA being a non-profit, events like these help to fund their operating budget along with bringing people together for a celebration of accomplishments. The group was able to raise $86,000 for their operating budget.
Awards were handed out at the banquet to recognize the important accomplishments of students and coaches. Awards like these help bring light to these athletes that stand out from the crowd.
“Not only are we celebrating what God has done, but we are also celebrating some of the accomplishments by athletes and coaches,” said Thomas Burnett, Director of Habersham FCA.
