New pastor tapped for Central Alliance Church

“All of Jesus for all the world” is something the folks at Central Alliance Church hear every Sunday from their new Pastor, Julian Pace.

A Georgia native, Pace grew up on a family farm in Springfield, just outside Savannah. Receiving his B.A. in Music from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2012 and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Carolina University, he is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Theology at Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, Pa.

The pastor met his wife Allison in college. She is employed through the Social Empowerment Center as a Mental Health Counselor, and they have two children – Gabriella (7) and Josiah (6).

“Jesus, the Bible, and theology,” Pace said when asked what he is passionate about. “Especially church history.” Pace said he also loves to sing, play the guitar, and write original songs. More than anything, he loves time with his family.

Central Alliance Church is located across from Habersham High School on Camp Creek Road, and is part of The Christian and Missionary Alliance, an evangelical protestant denomination with about 6 million members around the world. The core belief of the Alliance Church is that Jesus is “our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King.”

The Mt. Airy church has partnered with Envision Atlanta to assist thousands of refugees in Clarkston. They also have an outreach to families that have lost a loved one called “Help for Hurting Families.”
