Shop Local Coloring Contest
The deadline for our Shop Local coloring contest has been extended! There will be winners selected from three age groups, 3-5 years old, 6-9 years old and 10-12 years old. Please include the name, age and a phone number to contact. The winners will receive a $10 McDonald’s gift card. The coloring page can be found on our website here or in the last few editions of The Northeast Georgian.
$27 on the 27th
We encouraged the community to shop local on Small Business Saturday to infuse and strengthen our local economy. Receipts from any local purchase of $27 or more made on Nov. 27 can be turned in to be eligible for a drawing featuring prizes from many local merchants. The prizes for this contest can be found here.
Coloring page submissions and receipts from local merchants must be turned in NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 8 at 5 p.m. The drop-off location is The Northeast Georgian office, located at 2440 Old Athens Highway, Cornelia. There is a drop box outside our door for any submissions after hours.
Winners from both contests to be announced in the Dec. 10 Weekend edition of The Northeast Georgian.
