Dr. Jonathan Stribling is leaving Habersham Central High School after seven years as principal to become assistant superintendent of White County Schools.
Graduation night Friday will be his last presiding over the Raiders, with whom he has spent 14 years total including seven as an assistant principal.
“I had an absolutely exceptional experience at Habersham Central High School,” Stribling said. “I have grown as a leader in that position and I appreciate all the teachers and mentors that I have had since I have been in Habersham. I will miss everyone dearly.”
Stribling said Friday night’s graduation is all about the kids, but he will be emotional seeing his last class walk in front of him.
And, it will be Stribling’s final day to enthusiastically proclaim it to be the Day of the Raider.
