Habersham County's Board of Commissioners passed their county pay study Thursday night, providing countywide raises for their employees, much to the delight of the dozens of them who attended in a packed-house meeting.
The implementation of the raises will cost the county just under the $800,000 originally budgeted for fiscal year 2023.
The commissioners - only three of which attended - also voted unanimously to add the positions requested by recreation director Brooke Whitmire.
