Funeral services for Alice Kay Templeton, 59, of Demorest, were held Sunday, Sept. 12, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Pastor Mike Franklin officiating. Interment followed in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Baldwin.

Ms. Templeton passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021.

Born April 17, 1962, in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was a daughter of the late Bob Lee Templeton and Betty Louise Greemon Templeton.

Ms. Templeton was a special needs para-pro with Fairview Elementary. She was a care giver for most of her life and loved butterflies, dragon flies and gardening. Ms. Templeton loved people especially her family.

Surviving are her son and fiancé, Kye Kirby (Karaline) of Demorest; son, Trevor Kirby of Demorest; sisters and brother-in-law, Norma Maxwell (Max), and Trudy Nicol, all of Toccoa; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
