A private Celebration of Life service for Ashley "Danielle" Pritchett, 32, of Athens, formerly of Demorest, will be held at a later date.

Ms. Pritchett passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Born Sept. 21, 1989, in Toccoa, Danielle was the daughter of Lynne Waldron and the late Timothy Pritchett. In addition to her father, Danielle was preceded in death by her grandfather, Sam Pritchett.

Danielle had attended Auburn University after high school and was currently working in catering. She enjoyed hiking and all things outdoors as well as crafts. Her two fur babies, Ophelia and Houser, were her world. Danielle was very much a free spirit and was a huge Widespread Panic fan. She had been to many of their shows and festivals and very much enjoyed their music and community. Danielle loved music and was a self-taught guitarist. She was affectionately known by her friends as "Sunshine."  She was a member of Cool Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Lynne M. Waldron of Demorest; half-brothers, Brandon Buchanan of Athens and Cole Pritchett of Nebraska; half-sisters, Ashley Pritchett, Hannah Pritchett, and Leah Pritchett, all of Nebraska; grandparents, Leonard and Monteen Daniel Waldron of Demorest; stepmother Amy Pritchett of Nebraska; grandmother, Glennis Pritchett of Rabun County; aunts and uncles, Anita Waldron of Clermont, Reynolds Waldron (Patsy) of Maysville, Kimberly Waldron Garrison (Greg) of Colorado, Lane Pritchett of Texas, and Johnny Welborn of Rabun County; special cousin, Kathryn Waldron of Demorest; as well as numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, and many cousins and extended family.
