A private family graveside service for Audrey Irvin Dills, 73, of Clarkesville, will be held Saturday, May 9, at the Habersham Cemetery with Pastor Tony Goss and Pastor Bill Burrell officiating.

  Mrs. Dills went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

  Born March 1, 1947, in Clarkesville, at the Charm House, she was a daughter of the late Preacher James Troy Irvin and Bertha Lou Allen Irvin. 

  Audrey was a loving mother as well as a faithful Pastor's wife for over 50 years. She was loved and cherished by those around her. Audrey was well known for having a love for God as well as her family. She was affectionately called "Mimi" by her grandchildren. Playing the piano and singing in church was her passion. Audrey remained faithful to the Lord and His work until her death. She was a ray of hope in this dark world and a joy to be around.

  Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Pastor Dennis G. Dills of Clarkesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Trini Dills, and Dean and Dianne Dills all of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Cherie and Matt Quarles of Cleveland; grandchildren, Tara Dills of Baldwin, Chase Hicks, Evan and Kalyn Quarles all of Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Pastor Tim Fowler of Inman, South Carolina; nieces, Heather Henderson of Chesnee, South Carolina, and Amy Flynn of Inman, South Carolina; as well as one great-niece and three great-nephews.
