Funeral services for Bill McDougald, 69, of Cornelia, will be held at 2 p.m. today, June 26, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Shore officiating. Interment will follow in White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Milton Harris officiating.
Mr. McDougald passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020.
Born Dec. 20, 1950, in White County, he was a son of the late Runell Nelms Anderson. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Lathan McDougald; and brother, David Nelms.
Mr. McDougald was a member of White Creek Baptist Church. He was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills.
Survivors include his sister, Annette Irvin of Eastonalle; brothers, Dale Nelms of Cleveland and Darrell Nelms of Alto.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, Baldwin.
