Funeral services for Bobbie Suggs Harrison, 87, a lifelong resident of the Pea Ridge community, Cornelia, were held Sunday, Sept. 15, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Welborn officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. 

Ms. Harrison passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2019.

Born Feb. 10, 1932, in Cornelia, she was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Dora Free Suggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph Suggs and Jake Suggs; and sisters, Monteen Murphy, Evelyeen Suggs and Doris Payne.

Ms. Harrison retired from the Hall County School System where she taught 2nd Grade at Lula Elementary for 25 years. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and co-founder of the Ukanuzit Shop on Pea Ridge. Ms. Harrison enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, crocheting, yard sales, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was known as "Moo-Ma" to her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannie and Mike Collins of Cleveland, and Jan and Tim Armour of Cornelia; grandchildren, Jake and Rachel Collins, Joseph and Hollie Collins, Hunter Armour and Fisher Armour; great-grandchildren, Ezra, Eliza, Samuel and Olive; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends; and much loved great-nephew, Scott Simmons.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund, 1195 Old Mill Road, Cornelia, Ga 30531.
