A visitation for Brian Peter Bilbrey, 41, was held Dec. 29, 2020, at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Mr. Bilbrey passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020.

Born June 30, 1979, in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of Croom and Jeanne Bilbrey of Clarkesville. When Brian was six months old, he and his family moved to Lilburn.

Brian graduated from Parkview High School in 1997, and then went to attend Winthrop College in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he held many important roles including Orientation Adviser, Model UN Leader, and President of the Student Government. Brian was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, where he served as Chapter President from 1999 to 2000. After graduating from Winthrop, Brian attended the University of South Carolina College of Law. Brian had a successful career both in Clarkesville and most recently in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he was Compliance Manager for JTV. He was an active member in The Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Knoxville. Prior to moving to Knoxville, Brian, his wife, Lesley and their children lived in Demorest. They were very active in Grace Calvary Episcopal Church. If so desired, please make any donations to Grace Calvary Church.

Brian passed away from a recently diagnosed auto immune disease that progressed rapidly and caused his untimely death. Brian preceded his sister, Anne Marie Bilbrey Walters in death by six days. They were a brother and sister who were extremely close.

Brian is survived by the four precious gifts he left to all of us, his loving wife, Lesley; his beautiful children, Evelyn, Nora, and Philip; and his niece, Sarah Marie Walters.  He is also survived by his loving parents, Croom and Jeanne Bilbrey of Clarkesville; and Lesley's parents, Dr. Don and Carole Heiser of Knoxville, Tennessee.

An online guest book is available for the Bilbrey family at HillsideMemorialChapel.com.

Hillside Memorial Chapel & Gardens, Clarkesville was in charge of arrangements.
