No formal services for Cecil Tony Callahan, 78, of Alto, are scheduled at this time. Mr. Callahans wishes were to be cremated. 

  Mr. Callahan passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2020. 

  Born Dec. 4, 1941, in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Cleveland Elliot Callahan and Sally Alice Smith Callahan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kelly Callahan. 

  Mr. Callahan proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from law enforcement and was formerly employed with East Point Police Department and the US Marshal Services. Mr. Callahan was the last surviving member of his immediate family. 

  Surviving are his wife, Lenita Tweedell Callahan of Alto; son, Todd Callahan of Lake City, Florida; daughters and son-in-law, Kristi Hinely of Stockbridge, Casey and Eric Bennett of Homer; grandchildren, Kadi Hinely, Bryce Bennett, Holli Hinely, Jace Bennett and Mason Callahan.
