Funeral services for Christopher Gene Chandler, 37, of Baldwin, were held Monday, March 28, at Life Church of Baldwin. The Rev. Cody Howard and the Rev. Frankie Wilson officiated. Chris wished to be cremated following the service and interred at a later time with his parents in Missouri.
Mr. Chandler passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022.
Born Feb. 14, 1985, in Texarkana, Texas, he was the son of the late Billy Gene and Donna Brumley Chandler.
Chris was a contractor with McClendon Soil Services. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He also loved his faithful dog companion, Zor.
Survivors include his loving wife, Talitha Griggs Chandler of Baldwin; stepchildren, Cody and Laura Howard of Chatsworth and Tyler Ridings and Faith Anderson, both of Baldwin; grandchildren, Kayden Howard, Nathaniel Perry, Khloe Perry, Grace Howard, Dawson Ridings, Dakota Baker, Micah Anderson, and Kainen Blackburn; aunts, Debbie Chandler and Freida and Glen of Missouri; uncles, Kenny and Kay McClendon of the Hollywood community, Clarkesville and Joe Chandler of Missouri; and several cousins, other relatives, and friends.
