Funeral services for Cindy Savage Sapp, 58, of Mt. Airy, were held Monday, Dec. 20, 2021 at Hillside Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiated. Cindy's wishes were to be cremated following the service.

  Ms. Sapp took her Heavenly flight home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.

  Born Oct. 20, 1963, in Habersham County, she was a daughter of the late Jerry C. Savage and the late Bernice Broome Savage Dailey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Bernice Savage Ansley and grandparents, Otis and Lulah Jones Savage as well as Michael and Zadie Smith Broome.

Cindy was a medical assistant for over 16 years with Pediatrics at Toccoa Clinic. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, fishing, painting, history, studying her family's genealogy, and trips to the beach. She was a member of Glade Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Chris Souther of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Emma Souther and Gavin Souther of Mt. Airy; brother and spouse, John Savage and Kenny Williams of Mt. Airy; brother-in-law, Stanley M. Ansley of Mt. Airy; niece and spouse, Christy and Chris Peck of Baldwin; great-niece, Nora Peck of Baldwin; aunts and uncle, Jennifer and Jackie Taylor of Baldwin and Bessie Brown of Mt. Airy; uncles and aunt, Jack Broome of Mt. Airy and J.B. and Cindi Jo Savage of Mt. Airy; extended family, Michelle and Daniel Watson and their children, Colton, Kandyn, and Bentley Watson all of Toccoa; Shari Roth of Indiana and her son, Noah Swain of New York; and many other relatives and a host of friends.

The family requests that all donations be made in memory of Cindy Savage Sapp to Hillside Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 305 Clarkesville, Georgia. 30523 to help with funeral expenses.
