Funeral services for Claude L. Loudermilk, 72, of Mt. Airy, were held Tuesday, Sept.22, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with the Rev. Jeremy Garmon officiating. Interment followed in Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Keith Kimbrel officiating.  

  Mr. Loudermilk passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020.  

  Born Sept. 19, 1948, in Clarkesville, he was a son of the late Roland and Ethel Loudermilk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Curtis Marcus.  

  Claude loved bowling and enjoyed his frostys from Wendy's. He was of the Baptist faith.  

  Surviving are his sisters, Winnie L. Marcus of Mt. Airy, and Ethel Ferguson of Baldwin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Joyce Loudermilk of Mt. Airy, and Scotty and Lougenia Loudermilk of Eastonolle; nephews and spouses, Granger and Amanda Clark, Brian and Beth Loudermilk, Roland Loudermilk, Bruce and Brooke Ferguson, and Brad and Amanda Ferguson; nieces and spouse, Amy and the Rev. Jeremy Garmon, and Mary Loudermilk; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
