Funeral services for Danny Ray Fry, 51, of Clarkesville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Trotter and the Rev. Austin Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Old Nacoochee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Fry passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, following an extended illness.
Born March 12, 1968, in Demorest, he was the son of Mary Ann Franklin Fry of Clarkesville, and the late Rayford Fry. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his two sons, T.R. Fry and Alvin Fry.
Danny was in the logging industry for many years. He was an avid fisherman, race car fan and enjoyed watching football. Most of all, Danny enjoyed spending precious time with his family. He was a member of Old Nacoochee Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his loving wife of 22 years, Tammy Free Fry of Clarkesville; children, William, Kechara, Lee, Brittany and Alexx; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia and the Rev. Austin Kelley, Kim and Dennis Geisecke, all of Clarkesville; 10 grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
