Graveside services for Dollie Timmons Lively, 87, of Clarkesville, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at Eastview Cemetery in Mt. Airy with Chaplain David Souderes officiating.
Mrs. Lively passed away Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021.
Born Feb. 21, 1934, in Trion, she was the daughter of the late James Timmons and Repsie Garmany Timmons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Lively; and eight siblings.
Mrs. Lively retired from Mt. Vernon Mills with 34 years of service.
Surviving are her children, Ellen Robinson of Clarkesville, James Len Lively (Tinie) of Cleveland, Beverly Garner (Brian) of Alto, Susan Martin (Bobby) of Homer and Marie Cantrell (Kevin) of Mt. Airy; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister, Delvie Reed of Alabama; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Amedisys Hospice for the care of Mrs. Lively.
