Memorial services for Delores Glover, 71, of Alto, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Glover passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2022.
Born Mar. 8, 1950, Mrs. Glover was a daughter of the late Hugh and Ruby Glover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Glover.
She was a retired Habersham County school bus driver and a truck driver. She never met a stranger. She was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Tiffany Held of Lilburn, Bradley and Ulla Held of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Ethan and Lindsey Held of Auburn; sister, Dixie Glover of Alto; and six grandchildren, Olivia, Victoria, and Sophia Held of Lilburn and Jocelyn, Fiona, and Ryder Held of Auburn.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 1:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25 at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, Baldwin.
