Per his wishes, no services are planned for Doug Minyard, 85, of Noble, Oklahoma, formerly of Habersham County.
Mr. Minyard lost his two-year health battle April 15, 2022.
Born Sept. 14, 1936, he was a son of the late Rev. Herman and Cora Harris Minyard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Minyard and sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Buddy Stewart.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Minyard of Noble, Oklahoma; daughter, Kerry Minyard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Cammie and Bill Ramsey of Mt. Airy; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Vicky Minyard of Clermont; grandson and spouse, Casey and Amy Ramsey of Rocky Face; granddaughter and spouse, Brit and Josh Elliott of Guyton; two great-grandsons, Austin Cooley of Rocky Face and Garrett Elliott of Guyton; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Debra Minyard of LaGrange, North Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Doug was much loved and is greatly missed.
