Mr. Earnest A. Smith, 87, of Cornelia, passed away Aug. 10, 2021 after an extended illness. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. at Whitfield Funeral Home - North Chapel. Interment will follow the funeral service at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family of Mr. Smith will receive friends Friday, Aug.13, from 5 until 8 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes and Crematory, North Chapel, Demorest.
