Mr. Tench passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
Born Jan. 8, 1968, in Demorest, he was the son of the late James L. Tench and Fannie G. Allen Tench.
Mr. Tench was raised in White County, moved to Hiawassee and then Blairsville. He had previously worked for Swansons Contracting.
Surviving are his wife, Sheryl Rogers Tench of Blairsville; brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Judy Tench of Alto; sister, Pamela Tench of Seneca, South Carolina; stepson and daughter-in-law, Jason and Ginger Wood of Hiawassee; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Shane Haney of Young Harris; stepgrandchildren, Faine Wood, Luke Woody, Lane Haney and Livia Haney; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Ethan Howard.
