A celebration of life for Erin Elizabeth Terkhorn Paul, 39, of Cornelia, will be held March 12, 2022 in Cornelia.
Ms. Paul passed away Nov. 19, 2021 at her home in Cornelia.
Born Aug. 14, 1982, in Beech Grove, Indiana, she was the daughter of Kathy Littleton and Randy Terkhorn.
Erin graduated from St. Mary of the Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana with a paralegal degree. She moved to Chicago where she worked at Schiff Hardin, LLP and did stand-up comedy at Second City. When her niece, Jayden, was born, she moved to Atlanta to be closer to her as she grew up. She worked as a paralegal at Greenburg Traurig, LLP, and most recently at Butler Snow, LLP.
She loved her family at home as well as her work family. She had the most magnetic personality. Her positive attitude was infectious, and more than anything, she loved to laugh. It seemed that everyone she met became her friend and she held each of them dear to her heart, especially those she kept from elementary school through college.
Her son, Fitzgerald, was the love of her life. No mother could have loved a child more than she loved Fitz. The two of them were inseparable and so much alike.
Erin is survived by her mother, Kathy (Littleton) Vaughn; her father, Randy Terkhorn; her son, Fitzgerald Paul; her sister, Mandy Terkhorn, her sister, Bonnie Hutton (Tyler); her niece, Jayden Mills; and her stepfather, Terry Vaughn.
