A graveside service for Erma Jean Knight, 77, of Clarkesville, was held at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest Saturday, Aug. 20. David Jacobs and Ronnie Spradley officiated.
Ms. Knight passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022.
Ms. Knight was born Feb. 8, 1945, in Brunswick, and was the daughter of the late Jesse J. and Lillie Tindall Knight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Arnold Knight, Jim Knight, Ernest Knight, and Jesse Knight; sisters, Helen Emmick, Dorothy Allison, and Mildred McLemore; and infant sister, Sugar Baby.
She was a homemaker at the time of her passing, but had worked previously at Clarkesville Post Office, Brewers Drug Store in Clarkesville, Benny's Pizza in Lula, and had also been a secretary for Woodmen of the World.
Survivors include sister, Sally Pearson of Hoboken and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
