Funeral services for Floyd Lee Tomlin, 59, of Cornelia, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Tomlin passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019.
Born Aug. 20, 1960, in Atlanta, he was a son of the late Amos and Florence Cunningham Tomlin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sherrie Diana Barnes Tomlin; and sister, Judy Tomlin.
Mr. Tomlin was a member of B.C. Grant Baptist Church. He was employed with the City of Marietta for 19 years, then for Dockery Heating and Air for 10 years and more recently for Habersham Medical Center. He loved his grandkids, working on cars and going to church.
Survivors include his stepsons and their spouses, Dannelle and Nancy Barnes of Clarkesville, and Bronson and Alexandria Davis of Cleveland; daughters, Scarlette Elaine Tomlin and Rebecca Nicole Tomlin, both of Cornelia; grandchildren, Joseph Tomlin and Levi Tomlin; brothers, Larry Tomlin of Alabama, Willie Tomlin of Georgia, and Robert Tomlin of Alabama; and sister, Shirley Reel of Alabama.
