Funeral services for Frank Ferguson, 82, of Demorest, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

  Mr. Ferguson passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021. 

  Born Oct. 13, 1938, in Demorest, he was a son of the late Quinton Eugene "Bud" Ferguson and Etta Carolyn Spencer Ferguson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters. 

  Mr. Ferguson was an entrepreneur and founder of Piedmont Metal Processing. He was a member of the Clarkesville Masonic Lodge No. 325 and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Mr. Ferguson proudly served his country in the United States Army. 

  Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and  Laura Ferguson of Clarkesville, Bryan and Wendy Ferguson, and Steve and Jackie Nix, all of Demorest; grandchildren, Drew and Alex Ferguson, Katie and Collin Ward, Zach Ferguson, Anna Claire Ferguson, John Ferguson, Jonah Ferguson and Luke Ferguson; great-grandchild, Brooks Ward; brother, Dr. Jim "J.T." Ferguson of Buford; sisters, Elaine Grubbs of Atlanta, Mary Ferguson of Baldwin, Ella Arnold of Oakwood, and Evelyn Tarrant of The Villages, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. 

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 2175 Antioch Church Rd., Mount Airy, GA 30563. 

Those in attendance are asked to please adhere to the public health and social distancing guidelines regarding COVID-19.
