Funeral services for Freddie B. Seabolt, 86, of Cleveland, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at New Bridge Baptist Church.  The Rev. W.A. Jenkins, the Rev. Edward Hood, and the Rev. Robert Brundage will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Bridge Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Seabolt passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness.

Born Oct. 2, 1935, in Cleveland, Mr. Seabolt was a son of the late Arville and Marie Humphries Seabolt. In addition to his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Seabolt; son-in-law, Ricky Webb; grandchildren, Matthew Webb and Travis Webb; and mother of his children, Winell Seabolt.

He was a retired Georgia Department of Transportation area engineer for Area Two of the Gainesville District after 34 years of service. Mr. Seabolt was responsible for construction and maintenance activities within Habersham, Banks, Stephens, and Rabun Counties. He was a member of Bethel Temple in Clarkesville.

Survivors include his children, Rhonda Lee (Louie) of Clayton, Anita Webb of Turnerville, and Scott Seabolt (Johanna) of Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Homer Ward of Lawrenceville; niece and spouse, Pamela and Tim Gude of Loganville; companion, Ann Colston Dodd of Clarkesville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
