Celebration of Life Service for Harris "Red" Farmer, 81, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at Revive Church, 2696 J Warren Rd., Cornelia, GA 30531.
Mr. Farmer was gathered by angels, Thursday, June 24, 2021. He was loved by family and friends.
Born Sept. 19, 1939, he was the son of the late William Otis Farmer and Ruth Nevada Henderson Farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his best friend, Jerry Reed; and daughter, Janet Leigh Smith.
Mr. Farmer was a retired truck driver, veteran, and avid Nascar fan.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Farmer; children, Harris E. "Gene" Farmer, Tina and Ricky Waycaster, Carolyn and Mitchell Coleman, and Donna S. Farmer; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Farmer and Bobby Farmer; sister, Janice Hulsey; many nieces and nephews; and great friend, Tommy Gunn.
