Funeral services for Jackson Royce Ingle, 16, of Mt. Airy, are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at River Point Community Church, Ansley Road, Demorest, with Pastor Hal Stinespring officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. 

Jackson passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020. 

  Born July 19, 2004, in Atlanta, he was the son of Joseph Ingle and Lori Runyan Pearson. Jackson was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Royce Ingle; and step-grandfather, Hal Pearson. 

He was currently attending Habersham Central High School and previously attended Lambert High School where he played football for a year. Jackson was active in the River Point Community Church youth group and attended Branches of Christ. 

  Survivors include his father and stepmother, Joseph and Laine Ingle of Cumming; mother and stepfather, Lori Runyan and Harold Pearson of Mt. Airy; brothers, Lance Pearson of the U.S. Navy, Corey Pearson of the U.S. Marine Corps, Kael Ingle of Canton, Hunter Ingle of the U.S. Marine Corps, Josh Pearson of Mt. Airy, Taylor Ingle of Cumming, Tyler Ingle of Cumming, and Tucker Pearson of Mt. Airy; sisters, Lexi Ingle of Cumming, and EllaRae Pearson of Mt. Airy; paternal grandmother, Linda Ingle of Chamblee; maternal grandmother, Judy Bohannon of Canton; step-grandparents, Mickey and Ingrid Ada of Demorest, and Jeff and Barbara Buchwald of Cumming; and a host of other family and friends. 

  The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept.23, at McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home. 

  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Anthem of Hope at anthemofhope.org.  

  All attending should maintain social distancing and adhere to public health guidelines.
